As decisions are made they compose a conglomeration of materials, products, and architectural design. Through the construction process, we fuss these elements together with superior workmanship to create a structure of quality that will stand as a symbol of enduring value.
Background:
Art Davis founded his business in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York in 1976. Initially building speculative homes and doing some remodeling, Art earned a name that brought him to the forefront of the custome home industry. With a meticulous eye for detail and a passion for helping people obtain their dreams, he quickly became one of the highest respected builders in the area. Art developed his expertise by taking a hands-on approach to the entire building process. As a result, he was able to create a solid reputation through quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. To this day his reputation presents a distinguishing sense of accomplishment by increasing the demand for homes with his trademark.
In 1994, after building for eighteen years in the Catskills, a search for a coastal area with a moderate climate and growth potential led Art to relocate his family and business to Wilmington, North Carolina. The bulk of his work in the Cape Fear Region is one of a kind custom homes, large scale remodeling and the occasional speculative home. Art's son, Kirk, was always interested in construction. He spent many a Saturday as a youngster helping out around the job site. As he grew up, his interest in and skills as an artist led him back to a career in consruction. He is now the lead carpenter/supervisor on our job sites, where his critical and artistic eye keeps our projects focused and on track.
